Calling all northeast bees! I had a fabulous idea this morning to do something different and GET OUT OF TOWN for Thanksgiving weekend especially since we don’t know what we’re doing in regards to honeymoon yet (it wouldn’t be until next year) and our wedding is 11/7. We need a breather!!
We’re looking to travel no more than 5 hours by car from North Jersey. Where are some of your favorite places to visit in the fall (on a budget!!)? We’re into wine tasting, brewery tours, good food, relaxing, hiking, nature and finding undiscovered local “joints” wherever we go. We live in the city so we’d like to decompress and get away from crowds and the party atmosphere. I’m going to check out Groupon and Living Social as well but I don’t know if their offers are valid over holiday weekends.
